Ep #70: Eliminating Customer Pain Points with Properly CEO, Anshul Ruparell

My next guest on The Richard Robbins Show is co-founder, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Properly, a Canadian tech-enabled real estate brokerage that is making real estate customer-centric from ‘search’ to ‘sale’.

Anshul Ruparell, born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, grew up in a family of real estate entrepreneurs. While he began his career in investment banking and private equity, Anshul eventually found himself working as an entrepreneur in the real estate industry following his family origin.

“Properly is a new kind of real estate brokerage that tries to use technology to enhance the home buying and selling experience. Our core mission is to make real estate customer-centric.”

Although Properly is a tech-based company, its fundamental focus is based on the same principles the real estate industry has always concentrated on. Anshul tells me that, “We ground everything we do in a core set of problems that customers have and try to solve those in a way that we don’t believe have been solved historically.”
