Sometimes there is an idea that is so good, that it stops me in my tracks. On the 71st episode of The Richard Robbins Show, I interviewed an inspiring woman with such an idea.
Gia Lucchetta has been practicing real estate in her beautiful city of Guelph, Ontario for over 30 years. A Western University Alumni, Gia went right from post-secondary education into real estate at the suggestion of her father.
“My mother was mortified,” Gia told me, but to satisfy her father, she met with a broker in Guelph and the rest is history.
“I hit the market as soon as it died. I started in 88’ and I think the market died in 90’. So by the time I figured out how to sell something the market collapsed. Rates were 14% but that was a good teacher because it taught you how to sell and how to survive.”
As a massive advocate for higher education, Gia is now using the blessings in her own life to gift high school students the opportunity to have a better life. This is an idea that is so inspiring, that it had me reaching out to Gia upon hearing it.
In this episode of The Richard Robbins Show, I sit down with Gia to discuss how to make a positive impact in your community. Gia explains her passion project and offers some guidance on how you yourself can better impact your community.
