Malcolm X said it best, “There is no better than adversity,” and my next guest on The Richard Robbins Show has seen his fair share. Kevin Cochran, Co-Founder of EnRICHed Academy, is a high school dropout turned multi-millionaire, sharing his knowledge of financial mastery with companies as large as Investors Group to children as young as elementary and high school students.
Full disclosure, Kevin was my very first employee at RRI nearly 20 years ago. He came to me out of the blue: inexperienced, untrained but incredibly driven and focused. With no experience, Kevin learned how to telephone prospect and present in front of groups. These skills became his #1 secret to his success and have helped him throughout all stages of his career.
From RRI’s #1 salesperson to building Canada’s #1 mortgage brokerage from the ground up; to partnering with Jim Treliving and Bruce Croxon of Dragons’ Den, it’s clear Kevin’s determination has not waned in over 20 years.
In this episode, I sit down with an old friend and someone I think of as a second son. Kevin’s journey from bad credit, declining credit cards and insurmountable personal debt, to teaching the core values of financial independence is a story I am privileged to share.
