Ep #23: How to Change the World: One Life Altering Idea with Sam Demma

My next guest on The Richard Robbins Show has over 150 speaking engagements under his belt, is a TEDx presenter and has created a volunteer recycling organization all before his 21st birthday.

Sam Demma, a youth motivational speaker, originally had completely different ambitions. After being offered a full-ride scholarship to a Division 1 University, his dream of being a professional soccer player ended after multiple injuries. “I attached my whole identity and self worth to the sport. It got ingrained in my mind that ‘this is who I am’”, Sam tells me. But his story was far from finished and this podcast is a dramatic reminder that when one door closes, another will open.

Sam makes us beg the question, “How old do you need to be to make a difference?” Clearly there is no prerequisite for making a positive impact on the world and anyone, at any time, could change a life forever. Sam puts it simply, “If you seek service you can become a much more developed human being.”

In this episode of The Richard Robbins Show, Sam and I talk about identity and the concept of self-worth, we speak about the power authenticity in business and Sam brings to the table one outstanding, three-word concept that is bound to change the way you live your life.
