On this episode of The Richard Robbins Show, I sit down with a friend who, since day one of his real estate career, has focused much of his time, effort and budget on online marketing and lead generation.
Justin Havre, the number one RE/MAX agent in closed transactions from 2015 to 2020, has been unrelenting in his pursuit of digital dominance. His focus on online lead generation and search engine optimization (SEO) has helped him create a team of 70 agents and 20 support staff which did 1983 sales in 2021.
His background in technology gave him an understanding of just how important online lead generation is. He tells me, “For some perspective, my mortgage payment at the time was $1,000 a month. I made a commitment to spend $4,000 a month on search engine optimization. In some ways, it was do or die. It was survival.”
Today, with a team of nearly 100, Justin has accumulated over 1500 Google reviews with an average of 4.9 stars. In Justin’s Calgary market alone, he runs 10 lead generation websites and currently owns over 600 domains.
In the 64th episode of The Richard Robbins Show, Justin and I have a tactical conversation about the do’s and don’t’s of lead generation. Justin gives the listeners guidance about “speed to lead” conversion, why domains are critically important to your online presence and why SEO is something every real estate professional needs to prioritize in today’s market.
