The idea that success is the result of action is no secret. Small steps, repeated consistently, are a proven way to get from where you are to where you want to be.
The problem though is that something seems to hold us back from taking those small steps.
Why don’t we ask for the listing? Why don’t we knock on the door of the for-sale-by-owner home? Why don’t we ask a successful colleague for advice?
More often than not, it’s the fear of rejection that stops us. The fear of hearing “no” is a powerful inhibitor–the anxiety that someone might refuse the simplest request is often enough the reason to freeze us in our tracks.
But what are we really afraid of? In this two-minute video, I hope to shed some new light on the fear of rejection. Is it possible that rejection isn’t as scary as it seems?
